Hi, I'm Grace! I love to cook, bake, and do anything that involves being in the kitchen and making food for others. I also have my own baking business, Gracefully Garnished, that allows me to share this passion with the community. My favorite desserts to make are birthday cakes or French macarons. For this independent study, I will be traveling to New York City and somewhat interning a chef that I took a cooking class with for my seventeenth birthday. I will be learning how small businesses like this work while also hopefully observing the high-intensity environment of a restaurant kitchen as well. And, of course, I'll be learning how to make delicious food as well.
